Swift and Gregory Crowned 2025 Miss Nebraska’s Teen and Miss Nebraska Winners in North Platte

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — The spotlight shone bright on North Platte this weekend as Gabriella Swift and Makinzie Gregory were crowned the 2025 titleholders in the annual Miss Nebraska Scholarship Competition.

Swift, representing Douglas County, was named Miss Nebraska’s Teen 2025, while Gregory, representing Old West Balloon Fest, was crowned Miss Nebraska 2025 during the final night of competition. Both young women will go on to represent the Cornhusker State at the national Miss America’s Teen and Miss America competitions, respectively.

Throughout the weeklong pageant held in North Platte, contestants competed in a series of categories that highlighted their poise, performance, service, and scholarship.

During Night One, Gregory won the Evening Gown Competition, while the Miss Nebraska Talent Competition ended in a tie between Miss Douglas County Alayna Wilson and Miss Omaha Jacee Pfeifer. In the teen division, Cora Frans, Miss Midwest’s Teen, claimed the Talent Competition, and Ella-Kathryn Anderson, Miss Omaha’s Teen, won the Evening Gown Competition.

On Night Two, Swift impressed judges with her performance to win the Miss Nebraska’s Teen Talent Competition, while Gregory took top honors in Miss Nebraska Talent. Frans earned a second Evening Gown win in the teen division, and Wilson captured the Miss Evening Gown title.

Community service was also in the spotlight, with Anna Meier winning the Teen Community Service Award. In the Miss division, Alayna Wilson placed first, and Sierra Little took second.

The Miss Nebraska Scholarship Program, held annually in North Platte since 1937, empowers young women from across the state through education, leadership, and community service opportunities.
