North Platte, Neb - The annual Arts In the Park at North Platte's Cody Park, set for this Sunday, September 10 has been postponed until next Sunday, September 17 because of forecasts for rain on Saturday night and throughout the day Sunday.
In a message on social media, the Parks and Recreation department in North Platte said, "We’ve had to make the tough decision to postpone Arts in the Park until next Sunday, the 17th—due to the very high percentage of rain. And, with the knowledge that we have a lot of vendors that will need to travel to set-up. We will be reworking the map accordingly and release it by next Thursday.Set-up on Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th will remain the same."
