The St. Pats Boys and Girls Cross Country teams are headed to State! The boys posted a runner-up placement 5 points behind Axtell. St. Pat’s freshman Jarrett Miles was the overall boys District Champion with a time of 17:31.00. The other medal winner from the St Pats boys team was Dax Connick who placed 8th in 18:44.51.
The St. Pats girls brought home the District Championship trophy with a total of 9 points. All five of the St Pats girls individually qualified as well. Junior Kate Stienike was the District Champion with a time of 20:54.60. Senior Genna Blakely placed 2nd, Hayley Miles 6th, Madi Gifford 12th and Helana Pettit was 14th. The St Pats Cross Country team will head to Kearney next Friday to compete in the State Championships.
