Inconsistencies cost the North Platte Community College Knights Volleyball Team its home game against Northeastern Junior College Wednesday night.

The final scores were: 19-25, 20-25 and 20-25.

“We have to find a way to be more consistent and execute during games, especially when playing teams like NJC,” said NPCC head volleyball coach Alexa McCall. “I thought there were times we played well and then times where we just dug holes that are hard to get out of. We just made too many errors.”

Peyton Negley, of North Platte, led with 10 kills. Alysen Daniels, of Mullen had nine. Ruby Valle, of Weldona, Colo., notched 12 digs, and Erica Hopping, of Sutherland, added 27 assists.

The Knights are now 10-10 on the season.

They will head to La Junta, Colo. this weekend for two games on Saturday. The Knights face Otero Junior College at 11 a.m. then go up against Dodge City Community College at 1 p.m. Both times are Central.
