Linda and Wayne raised thoroughbred racehorses. They were members of the Nebraska Thoroughbred Breeders Association for many years. Over the years they raised 10 horses that went to the track and of those they had 3 stakes winners. After Wayne’s passing in 1997 Linda continued to be active in the North Platte community. She was a volunteer with Hospice, RDAP and CASA. She eventually opened her own non-profit therapeutic riding center, A-Will A-Way riding center, based at her home in North Platte.
There will be a memorial service/celebration of life on Thursday June 6 from 1PM - 3PM at Occasions 125 E. N. Lake Road, North Platte, NE
