Gerald "Jerry" E. Beideck, age 91, of McCook, Nebraska left his earthly home on Saturday, October 17, 2020 and went to be with his Savior.
Jerry was born in McCook, Nebraska on December 20, 1928 to Jacob and Marie (Brehm) Beideck. He graduated from McCook High School in 1947. Jerry married Barbara Jean Herman on June 25, 1950. Jerry had a lifelong career with the railroad.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Jean Beideck; sons, Steve Beideck (and wife Gera) and Mark Beideck (and wife Bodell); four grandchildren, Josh Beideck (and wife Lisa), Jake Beideck, Ashley Curtis (and husband Dustin), and Mick Beideck (aand wife Brooke); four great grandchildren, Haley Beideck, Kyah Curtis, Lathan Curtis, and Koral Beideck; and a sister-in-law, Hope Strong. Great granddaughter, Haley Beideck, was the joy of his life.
Graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Memorial Park Columbarium in McCook, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested in his name to the McCook Senior Center or the Masonic Eastern Star Home for Children (www.meshc.org).
