Boys State Basketball semi-finals: Irish, Tigers, Wolves, Indians still in it

LINCOLN — The Post area started the week with five area boys basketball teams representing the area in Lincoln for the NSAA Boys State Basketball tournament. Four remain, three of those playing for two spots in Saturday's D1 state championship game. North Platte St. Pat's plays Dundy County-Stratton at 9am at Devany  Center Friday morning, followed by Maywood-Hayes Center at 10:45am right after that game. St Pat's defeated DCS 65-60 earlier in the season.

If Maywood-Hayes Center should win today and play either NPSP's or DCS, that would be a rematch also. May/Hay lost to North Platte St. Pat's in there subdistrict final 39-40, and defeated DCS three times during the regular season by a combined fifteen points. 

In Class C1, Ogallala (27-0) will play Ashland-Greenwood, a rematch from last years state quarterfinal game with AG won, going on to win the C1 state title. You can listen to the Ogallala game at 9:45am Mountain Time on Z93.5 Country from Pinnacle Bank Arena. Kwik Stop pregame will begin on the radio at 9:25am Mountain Time.
