The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will host a free Arbor Day event from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Lake Maloney State Recreation Area at the outlet of Lake Maloney between the main boat ramp and jetty.
The free City Nature Challenge Mini Bioblitz Arbor Day Event is open to all ages.
Plant and learn about trees of Nebraska, learn about
wildlife that use trees, identify and photograph all other living
organisms to add to iNaturalist, and learn about citizen science. This
will be at the outlet of Lake Maloney between the main boat ramp and
jetty.
