NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-May 9 through 15 is Police Week in the United States, a week dedicated to remembering law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice, losing their lives in the line of duty.

The North Platte Police Department has lost numerous officers over the years, and today and every day, they remember their sacrifice.
