The Lincoln County Department of Roads has closed a bridge on South Madsen Road just south of East State Farm Road, effective immediately.
According to a public service announcement sent Wednesday morning, October 14, the closure prohibits through traffic on South Madsen Road south of East State Farm Road.
Local traffic will still be allowed on either side of the closed bridge, but drivers will not be able to travel through the affected area.
The county says the closure is necessary as crews work to resolve the issue. Drivers are asked to use alternate routes during the closure.
The Lincoln County Department of Roads thanked the public for its patience as work continues.
