As road conditions continue to deteriorate, a crash has forced the partial closure of Interstate 80 in Dawson County.

The Nebraska State Patrol says the eastbound lanes between Cozad at Lexington (mile markers 222 to 237) are closed due to the crash.

Radio station KRVN reports the crash was a head-on collision with Cozad Fire and Rescue on the scene with law enforcement.

It is also being reported that other vehicles are piling up behind the crash.

We are awaiting more information from the Nebraska State Patrol.
