Following these items, the board will recess and reconvene at 9:15 a.m. as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization. During the session, members will approve minutes from the April 21 meeting, review certificates of correction and refund submitted by the county assessor, and consider authorizing Lincoln County Assessor Julie Stenger to sign discovery documents in two cases pending before the Nebraska Tax Equalization and Review Commission.

After the Equalization Board session, the commissioners will reconvene at 9:30 a.m. to hear an update from the Lincoln–Logan–McPherson Counties Extension Office staff, followed at 9:45 a.m. by a quarterly report from Brandon Myers, director of Region 51 Emergency Management.

At 10 a.m., Region 51 Emergency Management will announce the winners of the 2025 Severe Weather Awareness Poster Contest. Later, at 10:20 a.m., the board will discuss and consider an offer of settlement in Case No. 1-23/24-5-54454-RS, pending before the Nebraska Equal Opportunity Commission.
