Three Panhandle men have been arrested for sex trafficking.
On Jan. 29 the Scottsbluff and Gering Police Department executed four search warrants into alleged sex trafficking.
65 year-old James Gutierrez of Gering was arrested for two counts of sex trafficking and 3rd degree sexual assault.
60 year-old Jeffrey B. Calder of Scottsbluff was apprehended for sex trafficking, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and two counts of possession of a short shotgun.
39 year-old Justin Kumm of Scottsbluff was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
"Officers seized a number of firearms, suspected methamphetamine, cellular telephones and other electronic storage devices," said Dave Eubanks, Scotts Bluff County Attorney.
The WING Drug Task Force and Nebraska State Patrol assisted the Scottsbluff and Gering Police Departments.
"This is an ongoing investigation and we encourage anyone with information to contact the agencies that are involved," Eubanks added.
