
Karen M. Tackett, 71, of North Platte, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021 at her home.
She was born on November 24, 1949 to Leo and Eileen (Schiltz) Neff in Colby, Kansas.
Karen graduated from Rocky Ford H.S. in CO. She worked in the housekeeping department at Motel 6 in North Platte for several years.
Surviving are her mother, Eileen Neff of North Platte; children, Lea Tackett (Raymond Smith) of North Platte and James Tackett of North Platte; her significant other, Jim Fox of Stapleton; grandchildren, Gabriella and Donielle Ballard, Loki Smith, Donavan, Mataya, Kaden and Jalyssa Tackett; siblings, Janet Lewis of TX, Joyce Schaefer (Joe) of Waterloo, IA, Keith Neff of North Platte and David Neff (Teresa) of North Platte; sister-in-law, Patty Neff of Kearney; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was predeceased by her father, Leo Neff; brothers, Jerry and Kenneth Neff; and brother-in-law, Brent Lewis.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Vidya Sagar Arikotla officiating.
