Registration Days will begin in April at MPCC

Mid-Plains Community College has announced its schedule for upcoming Registration Days.

The events, which are designed to give prospective students an opportunity to sign up for classes, meet with faculty and staff and receive the information needed to begin coursework in the fall, will start in April and continue through the summer.

They will be Tuesdays, April 23, May 21, June 11 and July 16 in North Platte and Thursdays, April 25, May 23, June 13 and July 18 at the McCook campus.

Students will be able to take placement tests during Registration Days, and representatives will be on hand to answer questions about:

  1. Class scheduling
  2. Financial aid
  3. Payment expectations
  4. Bookstores
  5. Career services
  6. Advising
  7. Library services
  8. Student Success/tutors
  9. Disability services
  10. Student life
  11. Student organizations
  12. Campus housing

“Students and parents will be guided through the enrollment process in a fun and informative way, making sure they leave feeling prepared for success,” said Mindy Hope, director of recruiting and admissions. “Free hoodies will be given to the first 100 students who attend an event.”
