El Paso, Texas-A Stapleton native was killed in a Christmas day hit and run crash in east El Paso, Texas.

Police said Laramie Fowler, 24, of El Paso, was traveling on his motorcycle when an unknown vehicle turned in front of him.

Authorities said it appears Fowler attempted to avoid the collision with the vehicle, causing him to lay down his bike.

Police said the vehicle then struck Fowler as he was sliding down the roadway.

The driver of the vehicle then fled the scene and has yet to be identified by investigators.

The only description provided to authorities was that the woman was wearing a green sweater and the vehicle was dark-colored.

As of Monday morning, no arrests had been made.
