&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Gary Lee Stiver, age 76, of Curtis, Nebraska passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at his home.&nbsp; He was born on September 9, 1944 at Fayetteville, Arkansas to Oliver and Helen Stiver. Gary grew up in Leota, Kansas and graduated from high school. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;He was united in marriage to Marilyn J. Butler on October 22, 1965 at Kearney, Nebraska where the couple lived.&nbsp; Later, they moved to Montana, Washington, and California before returning to Nebraska. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Gary worked for NPPD in Maintenance for over 25 years. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Gary is survived by his wife, Marilyn; children, Ronda (German) Romero and Douglas (Shaelin) Stiver; and his grandchildren, Mitchell, Ryan, Miranda, Jullian, and Kenzie. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;He is preceded in death by both parents; brothers Joe and Roger; and his sister, Gayle. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Memorials may be made to the family for designation at a later date.&nbsp; Online condolences and sharing of memories can be made at www.carpentermemorial.com.&nbsp; Carpenter Memorial Chapel in North Platte, Nebraska is entrusted with the arrangements.
