
Danielle Cruse, age 48, passed away at her home in McCook, Nebraska on July 3, 2021. She was the only daughter of Daniel & Paulette (Carter) Jones born in Fair Bluff, North Carolina on October 17, 1972. Danielle attended school in North Carolina and graduated from high school. She pursued her education studying general curriculum.
Danielle worked for a short time for the United States Postal Service, but resigned to stay home and care for her grandmother during an extended illness. In 2015 she moved to Nebraska. In 2016, she met Phillip Cruse and married him on September 8, 2018 in McCook, Nebraska.
Danielle was a member of the McCook Eagles, she enjoyed reading and working with Phillip managing apartments.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Paulette Jones.
Danielle is survived by her husband, Phillip; 7 step-children, Betty (Dave Fulkerson) Hartpence of LaGrance, Indiana, Dave (Kathy) Hallagin of Lawton, Oklahoma, Robert (Ann) Hallagin of Fullerton, Nebraska, Denise (Dave) Moore of Belgrade, Nebraska, Phillip Cruse of Grand Island, Nebraska, John Smith of Grand Island, Nebraska, and Leroy (Misha) Cruse of Lincoln, Nebraska; others that called her mom: Buck Tyre, Will Tyre, Melony Boone, and Allen Curtis; 30 grandchildren; 2 aunts Wanda (Wayne) Bryant of Fork, South Carolina and Landis (Joseph) Clark of Lakeview, South Carolina; 3 nephews Lance Clark, Joey Clark, and Brian Carter.
A graveside service will be held at the Maywood Cemetery in Maywood, Nebraska at a future date. Memorials may be left in Danielle's name. Friends may leave online condolences at herrmannfh.com. Herrmann Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook, Nebraska is entrusted with arrangements.
