The North Platte City Council will meet Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, with utility financing, a street improvement project and several development matters on the agenda.
The council will consider the first reading and action on an ordinance authorizing the issuance of Combined Utilities Revenue Bonds. Members will also consider creating Street Improvement District No. 366 for West Philip Avenue between Union Avenue and Spruce Street.
Other regular agenda items include a proposed rezoning at 818 and 820 South Bailey Avenue, along with subdivision applications for properties on East 4th Street and North Sheridan Avenue.
The council will also hold public hearings on the proposed 2026 City of North Platte Comprehensive Development Plan and the 2026 Zoning Ordinance and Official Zoning Map. No action is scheduled on those items Tuesday.
The consent agenda includes several liquor license requests, the appointment of James Nisley to the North Platte Tree Board and renewal of the city's emergency management agreement with Lincoln County.
The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the City Hall Council Chambers and will also be available to watch online.
