NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-The West Central District Health Department said on Tuesday that five new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in their jurisdiction, which includes Lincoln, Logan, McPherson, Thomas, Hooker and Arthur Counties.
Three cases are from Lincoln County including a female in her 20s (this case is under investigation), a male in his 40s (this case is travel related), and a female in her 30s (this case is a close contact). All three of these cases are actively isolating at home.
The fourth case is a female in her 30s from Hooker County, actively isolating at home. This case is a close contact.
The fifth case is a male in his 50s from McPherson County, actively isolating at home. This case is community spread.
