July 24, 2023 (North Platte, Neb.)- Weather permitting, work will begin July 31 in Gothenburg, from reference post 212+76 to reference post 213+95, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Ten Point Construction Co., Inc. of Denison, lowa is the contractor for this project. Work includes concrete pavement repair and sealing. Traffic will be maintained with lane closures and flaggers. An 11--foot width restriction will be in effect. Anticipated completion is October 2023.
The purpose of this project is to preserve the transportation asset, improve the reliability of the transportation system and perpetuate the mobility of the traveling public.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
