Lincoln County Cattlemen to Host Extension Program at Jan. 21 Meeting

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — The Lincoln County Cattlemen will host an educational meeting Tuesday, Jan. 21, at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds in North Platte, featuring programming from Nebraska Extension.

The evening will begin with a social at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. Educational presentations will start at 6:30 p.m.

Topics planned for the meeting include 2025 tax law changes, the impact of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act on the agriculture industry, the use of Lutalyse to synchronize natural-bred cows, and vaccination timing prior to cow synchronization.

Speakers will include Flint Corliss with Nebraska Farm Business Inc., Rick Funston with the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, and Dr. Jess Hinrichs with Zoetis.

The meeting is supported by Zoetis.
