EDWARDS COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 5p.m. Thursday in Edwards County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2018 Honda CRV driven by Nicholas Warren Tepper, 25, Stow, Massachusetts, was northbound on 70th Avenue at U.S. 50. The driver failed to yield to a westbound train.
The train struck the Honda and rolled it into the ditch on the north side of the railroad tracks.
EMS transported Tepper to Wesley Medical Center. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP
