VIDEO: Championship Saturday at State Wrestling Meet: Four will wrestle for State Championships

Omaha, Ne - The last day of the Nebraska State Wrestling Tournament has come, and four area grapplers will wrestle for State Championships. 

North Platte High's Ryan Fox will wrestle Josiah Aburumuh from Millard South for the 152 pound championship. Fox is now 55-5 in his carreer, he finished 3rd at the State Tournament last year wrestling at 145 pounds. 

In Class C, the Post area has two wrestlers in championship matches. Chase County is represented by Jaret Peterson at 220 pounds. Peterson finished 3rd in this weight class last year. He is 42-1 heading into his championship match against Cal Wells from Broken Bow.

Also in Class C is Hershey's Ethan Elliot who will try to win the state championship in the 120 pound weight division. Elliott is 44-1 on the year. He'll wrestle Robbie Fisher (Crofton/Bloomfield) who is Ethan's only loss this year. Elliott finshed 3rd in 2022 at the tournament.

The final wrestler from the Post area is Sutherland's Grady Dempcy, who will try to win the title at 106 pounds against Grady Romshek (Aquinas Catholic). Dempcy is 34-4.
