Ardath “Ardie” L. Welch, 74, of North Platte, NE passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Great Plains Hospital. She was born on May 16, 1947 in Rosewell, New Mexico, daughter of C.H. McLeod and Mildred (Adams) McLeod.
Ardie graduated from Gardena High School in Gardena, California in 1969. She was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed raising her children and in later years spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid life-long NE Husker fan, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving her are sons, Michael Welch of Chesapeake, VA and Steven (Dee) Welch of Paradise, TX; daughter, Christina Welch of North Platte; grandchildren, Matthew Welch (Ingrid Peterson) of North Platte, NE and Krystina Davis of Paradise, TX.
She was predeceased by her parents.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at North Platte Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 11th from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which has been entrusted with the arrangements.
