Angel Quinonez died April 12, 2024, at Great Plains Health in North Platte, Nebraska, at age 66.
Angel was born October 1, 1957, to Guadalupe and Irene Quinonez in Mexico. He grew up in Ciudad Juarez then moved to North Platte when he was a teenager. Angel worked at the local packing plant for many years.
On August 26, 2011, Angel married Maria "Carmen" Martinez and they made their home in North Platte. They were together until Carmen died in 2020.
Angel loved his dog, Shadow, and was supportive and always willing to help his family and others when they need it. Family was most important to Angel, he was their hero.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and four siblings.
Survivors include his siblings and their spouses, Mario and Anna Quinonez of North Platte, Jorge and Dorothy Carmona of Sutherland and Daniel and Mary Quinonez, Noe and Carina Carmona and Lorena and Raul Burciaga of Texas; many nieces, nephews and other family.
Family and friends gathered for a final viewing and memorial service in remembrance of Angel at noon on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Odean Colonial Chapel in North Platte.
