North Platte, NE — The Lincoln County Republican Party will hold its September meeting on Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, and invites community members to attend for important local, regional, and state updates.
Featured speakers include Senator Mike Jacobson and Public Service Commissioner Kevin Stocker.
Senator Jacobson will provide a Legislative update. Commissioner Stocker will speak on rail safety, telecommunications, and grain dealer warehouse information. He will also be open to answering any questions about the function of the Public Service Commission.
The Public Service Commission regulates telecommunications carriers, natural gas jurisdictional utilities, major oil pipelines, railroad safety, household goods movers and passenger carriers, grain warehouses and dealers, construction of manufactured and modular homes and recreational vehicles, high voltage electric transmission lines, and private water company rates.
A light dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m., followed by the program beginning promptly at 6:30 p.m. The meeting is held at the North Platte Eagles Club # 2839, located at 620 North Chestnut Street.
