North Platte, Neb. — The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners will meet Monday, October 20, 2025, at the Lincoln County Courthouse in North Platte to address a full slate of business ranging from infrastructure funding and zoning requests to wildlife management and liquor licensing.

Commissioners are expected to consider a letter of support for the Nebraska Department of Transportation’s County Bridge Match Program. The initiative helps counties offset the costs of bridge repair and replacement — an ongoing concern in Lincoln County, where aging rural infrastructure remains a major expense.

Also on the agenda is a subdivision request from the Manning Ranch Company for the First Administrative Subdivision located at 9964 S. Miller School Road in an R-1 Rural Estates District. The board will also hear a public hearing for a secondary catering and patio license submitted by Axes and Aces, located at 675 E. North Lake Road.

Another discussion item will center on forced control of black-tailed prairie dogs on property in Sections 11 and 14, Township 16 North, Range 34 West. The issue has surfaced periodically in the county as officials balance landowner rights with agricultural and environmental concerns.

Commissioners are also scheduled to consider zoning enforcement action regarding property at 6129 N. Washboard Road.

Monday’s meeting will include department head reports, committee updates, and the possibility of a closed session to discuss pending litigation or real-estate matters.

The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners Room at the Lincoln County Courthouse, 301 N. Jeffers Street in North Platte. The full agenda is available on the county’s website at lincolncountyne.gov.
