Mullen Public Schools posted the following message on their Facebook page:
This message is on behalf of West Central Health Department and Hirschfelds to inform you that a student of Mullen Public Schools has tested positive for COVID-19. The student was in attendance at the prom that was held on July 1st in North Platte. If you or any of your family members were in attendance at Prom on July 1st, West Central recommends that you quarantine immediately. If your student brought an outside date, please contact them immediately and have them follow the same directions. West Central is also asking you to visit their website at wcdhd.org and fill out their screening questionnaire. After that is complete, please contact West Central Health at 308-696-1201 to see if you need to be tested. Testing is the only way to expedite the quarantine. This is the safest way to ensure that COVID-19 does not spread throughout our community. If you have questions, please contact Mr. Kuncl.
Updates on other events such as Graduation, Camps, Summer Weights, and Gym Weight Membership will be updated as information is available.
