NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-A North Platte man has been arrested after he allegedly groped a woman without her consent.

Police said on May 20 at around 10:52 p.m., officers responded to the report of suspicious activity in the 1200 block of William Ave.

Police said it was reported that Zachary Buhman, 29, had been inside the residence of the alleged victim sitting on the couch. The victim told officers that as they sat there, Buhman began grabbing at her waistband and inside her underwear, eventually touching her buttocks.

Following further investigation, officers determined there was probable cause to arrest Buhman on suspicion of 3rd-degree sexual assault.&nbsp;

On May 23, Buhman was taken into custody and jailed at the Lincoln County Detention Center.
