2 arrested for meth in Scottsbluff traffic stop

On Jan. 6 at approximately 4 p.m. Scottsbluff Police Officers made a traffic stop near East 14th Street and 12th Avenue.

35-year-old Amanda Cyr of Scottsbluff and 63-year-old Jose Rosado were arrested for possession of methamphetamine.

"As part of the investigation, a search warrant was obtained and served at a residence in the 1600 block of 7th Avenue with the assistance of the Scotts Bluff County SWAT team," Scottsbluff Operations Captain Lance Kite said. 

35-year-old Dillon Deines of Scottsbluff was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. 23-year-old Raquel Nevarez of Morrill was arrested for failure to appear on a warrant.

30-year-old Marcos Martinez of Lyman was apprehended on a Goshen County Wyoming warrant of burglary. 33-year-old Jesse Dean of Scottsbluff was arrested on a warrant, discharge of a firearm within city limits and intentional child abuse, along with resisting arrest.

Cyr also received an additional charge of aiding and abetting a fugitive from justice.

All individuals were transported to the Scotts Bluff County Detention Center.

The Scottsbluff Police Department was assisted by the WING Drug Task Force, the Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Office, Scottsbluff Fire Department and Valley Ambulance Service.
