Gwendolyn L. "Gwen" Johnson (1954-2021)

     Gwendolyn Lee "Gwen" Johnson, age 66, of Sutherland, Nebraska passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Sutherland Care Center.
     Born August 2, 1954 in Wichita, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late Richard & Evelyn (Hudleston) Johnson.
     Gwen spent most of her childhood and growing up in Cartago, California.  She worked most of her career as a CNA and then went on to become an over-the-road truck driver.  She loved seeing the country over-the-road and especially enjoyed trips through the desert.
     Surviving are her children, Michael McCullar of California, Daniel McCullar of Idaho, Michele McCullar of California, Tina Davis of Falls City, Nebraska, and Joe Johnston (Ashley) of Sutherland, Nebraska; 13 grandchildren; and her sister, Romona Koltzau (Alan) of Virginia.
     She was preceded in death by her brothers, Thor Johnson and Clifford Johnson.
     Services are private.
     Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adams & Swanson Funeral Home in North Platte, Nebraska.
