For the second year in a row hard work has paid off for the Lady Bulldogs.
With a 14-6 record, NPHS has enough power points to once again host a district basketball game. They will start by hosting the #4 Omaha Northwest Huskies (5-13) on Feb 23rd. If the Bulldogs win they will host the winner of #3 Belluevue East (10-10) and #2 Millard North (12-8).
"We're excited to have earned the opportunity to host the A-6 District! The girls have worked hard all season to put themselves in the position to play in the Dawg House!"
The winners of each district tournament will gain an automatic bid to the state tournament with the last spot going to a "wild card" team.
Last year the Bulldogs were eliminated in the first round of the state tournament by eventual state champion Lincoln Pius X.
