
Rosetta Loncar Farley, age 92 of North Platte, NE, passed away
unexpectedly March 6, 2023. She was a wonderful wife of 49 years and a
mother and grandmother who was always supportive of her family.
Rosetta was born June 15, 1930, in Sidney to Mike and Rose Loncar (Rose
was known from the North Platte Canteen). She will be remembered as the office manager of Joe Dye Ford for 4 decades and the family-owned business, The Country Rose in North Platte.
Rosetta was preceded in death by her husband, Gene LeVoy Farley; her
parents; brother, Mark Loncar; and sisters, Olga Pat Burns and Dorthy
VanBuskirk.
Rosetta is survived by her daughter, Chris Farley and husband Troy
Tomsick of Scottsdale, AZ and Denver, CO, and their son, Nick Tomsick
(former Mid Plains Community College basketball player who is playing
professionally in Belgium); her son, Jon Farley of North Platte (Lashley
Land & Recreational Brokers), and his children, Shawn Farley of
Scottsdale, AZ, Elena Farley of Greeley, CO, and Ryan Farley of North
Platte (Hastings College); as well as other family.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers,
it is the family's wish that memorial contributions be sent to Church of
Our Savior, 203 West 4th St., North Platte, NE, 69101.
Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore is in charge of arrangements.
