North Platte Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Person of Interest in Attempted Jewelry Store Burglary

The North Platte Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual connected to an attempted burglary at a downtown business.

According to authorities, the person pictured is wanted for questioning in connection with an attempted burglary at Tallmon Jewelers in the 500 block of North Dewey Street. The incident occurred on the evening of Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026.

Police are asking anyone who recognizes the individual — or the clothing, shoes, backpack or bicycle shown in the released images — to come forward. Investigators say even small details could be crucial in helping identify the suspect.
