NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (Oct. 24, 2025) — The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners will meet Monday morning at the county courthouse, with a full agenda that includes public safety updates, a presentation from Eagle Media, and consideration of a conditional use permit for a proposed family cemetery east of North Platte.
The meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners Room at the Lincoln County Courthouse. Commissioners will review claims, treasurer’s receipts, and sign a certificate confirming the review of the preliminary official statement for the county’s Highway Allocation Fund Pledge Bonds Series 2025.
At 9:20 a.m., the board will discuss authorizing the purchase of a used pickup truck for Region 51 Emergency Management, followed by a quarterly report from Emergency Management Director Brandon Myers at 9:30.
Commissioners will also discuss a countywide public safety training exercise at 9:45.
Later in the meeting, commissioners will receive an update regarding an invoice from Tender Hearts Veterinary Center before considering Resolution 2025-30, a conditional use permit request from Patrick and Jestine Irish to build a private family cemetery at 138 East Watts Road, located within an I-1 Industrial District.
The board may enter closed session as needed to discuss litigation, real estate, or personnel matters.
