Communities for Kids North Platte and fiscal agent Families First Partnership is excited to announce that Diane Livingston has accepted the position as the North Platte Communities for Kids Community Coordinator for Early Childhood in the North Platte area.

Diane is a native to the North Platte area, brings years of experience related to early childhood education programs and is passionate about fulfilling the Community for Kids North Platte’s mission: all children of the North Platte Community will have access and experiences in high-quality childcare and education.

This position was made available when Communities for Kids North Platte was awarded a $40,000 grant through a Preschool Development Grant from the Nebraska Children and Families Foundation (Nebraska Children). Through this federal DHHS Preschool Development Grant (PDG), there are a series of early care and educational opportunities for communities across Nebraska to receive, such as building local early childhood infrastructure, developing community-wide plans to support all types of child care systems, and focusing on increasing quality, availability, and access to excellent early child care. In addition, Communities for Kids Plus (C4K+) will help local communities build local early childhood Communities for Kids who were awarded this grant.

Please contact Communities for Kids North Platte via email to learn how one can support or donate to this important mission.
