BROKEN BOW, Neb.-Authorities say a California woman died in a crash in Custer County.
The Custer County Sheriff's Office said they received a report of a one-vehicle crash on US Highway 183, near mile marker 99, at around 10:42 p.m. on Sept. 13.
Authorities said a vehicle driven by Rhonda Lynch, 60, of Ramona, California, was southbound when she lost control of her 1994 Suburban and hit a guardrail.
Lynch was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, according to authorities.
She was transported to Jennie Melham Memorial Hospital in Broken Bow, before being airlifted to Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
She was later transported to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha where died on Sept. 17 as a result of her injuries.
