Marie Irene Dugan, age 84, of North Platte, died April 17, 2025 at Great Plains Health, surrounded by family. She was born on January 5, 1941 in Brule, NE to Earl and Martha (Wiest) Campbell.
Marie graduated with the class of 1959 from North Platte High School. On October 3, 1963, she married Robert Dugan in Cheyenne, WY. The couple made their home in North Platte where Marie worked at Campus Cleaners from 1971-1984. Marie enjoyed crocheting, crafting and making things, reading and going to the stock car races. She was also an avid NASCAR, and Husker volleyball and football fan.
Survivors include her husband Robert of North Platte; children, Timothy of Wichita, Kansas, Teresa Dugan of North Platte, NE; brothers, Dennis Campbell of North Platte, and Richard “Dick” Campbell of Council Bluffs, Iowa; sister- in- law, Barbara Campbell of Colorado Springs, Co; 5 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Ida Ingels and Beverly Lee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Charles Campbell; 2 sisters, Lois (Carl) Bergland, and Margaret (Dean) Jensen; and her step mother, Hazel Campbell.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday April 23, 2025 at Adams & Swanson Chapel with Terry Coon officiating. Burial will be at the Morningview Cemetery at Wallace. Visitation will be 12-7 Tuesday April 22, 2025 with the family receiving friends from 5-7. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
