Ivan D. Oberg of North Platte, Nebraska passed away in Lincoln, Nebraska on May 2, 2021 at the age of 64.
Ivan was born in Gothenburg, Nebraska to Sarah and Alfred Oberg on February 8, 1957. He grew up and went to school in North Platte. Ivan liked going to stock car races, among other hobbies. On July 24, 2010 he married Julie Sabin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sarah & Alfred; and several aunts and uncles.
Ivan is survived by his sister, Dian (Tom) Jenkins; brothers, Tom (Cheri) Oberg and John (Camille) Oberg; his wife, Julie; several nieces and nephews; and plenty of friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 7, 2021 at the Gothenburg Cemetery in Gothenburg, Nebraska with Pastor James Trippett officiating.
