Lincoln, Neb. – EducationQuest Foundation has awarded nearly $1.58 million in need-based scholarships to 30 nonprofit colleges and universities across Nebraska for the 2025-26 academic year, helping students overcome financial barriers and pursue their educational goals.
The funds support Nebraska undergraduate students demonstrating financial need, with each college selecting scholarship recipients based on a variety of criteria. Among the institutions benefiting from this support are Mid Plains Community College and Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture, along with 28 other schools statewide.
“An investment in Nebraska’s students is an investment in Nebraska’s future,” said Eric Drumheller, Vice President of Grants and Scholarships. “By partnering with Nebraska’s colleges and universities, we’re removing financial barriers to ensure more students can access and complete a degree that will change the trajectory of their lives and strengthen our communities.”
