Helen Ruth Arnold passed away Saturday afternoon, June 17, 2023 at El Dorado Manor in Trenton. She was 91 years of age.
Helen Ruth Arnold was born in Denver, Colorado on April 21, 1932 to Edward L. and Helen (Buckley) Hancock. She attended school in Denver and graduated from Denver University. Helen put her education to work as a teacher, she dedicated her life to the students of McCook at North Ward Elementary until her retirement.
Helen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed painting, genealogy and her family.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Helen is survived by her children, Matt Arnold, Dan Arnold, and Heather Blake; seven grandchildren: Joe Blake, Ryan Blake, Sarah Rewerts, Hayden Arnold, Cameron Arnold, Morgan Arnold, and Sullivan Arnold; and eight great-grandchildren: Zabien Blake, Kaleb Blake, Benson Blake, Camden Blake, Avery Blake, Korbin Blake, Kasen Blake, and Bruan Rewerts.
Visitation for Helen will be held on Sunday June 25, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Graveside services will be held at the Riverview Cemetery in McCook on June 26, 2023 at 1:00 PM.
