Ryan Earl Reeves, 58, of North Platte, Nebraska passed away on November 4, 2023, at his residence. He was born in San Bernardino, California, on September 16, 1965, to loving parents, Dennis and Diana (Rogers) Reeves.
Ryan's early years were spent in Fontana, California, where he attended school and later graduated from Fontana High School. After graduating, he embarked on travels across the country. In 1985, he welcomed his daughter, Jennifer, into the world, an event that brought him immense and lasting pride.
One of Ryan's greatest joys was spending time with his parents, Dennis and Diana. He cherished his role as a great uncle, and enjoyed spending as much of his time with family as possible. In 2010, he made the decision to move to North Platte, where he could be closer to his beloved parents and family.
Ryan possessed a unique gift for storytelling, captivating those around him with his tales. Outside of social gatherings, he found pleasure in fishing, tending to gardens, and embracing the great outdoors. He was also an avid dog lover, finding solace and companionship in the company of his beloved pets.
Ryan is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Lesta Chavez; his siblings, Rick Reeves, and Rochelle (Jeff) Reinhard; eight nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews. He leaves behind a circle of family and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dennis Reeves and Diana (Rogers) Kirby, and his grandparents, Orlo and Verna Reeves, and Bob and Lena Lesta Rogers. The family suggests memorials for future designation, and online condolences may be shared at www.adamsswanson.com.
A heartfelt burial of his ashes will take place on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 10 am at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens, where he will rest along with his beloved father, Dennis.
