It will be a windy start to the work week, the National Weather Service in North Platte said.
On Monday, the wind is expected to remain sustained at 20 to 25 mph, with gusts up to 35. The wind will persist into Tuesday night, with gusts of 25 mph possible Tuesday.
The high temperature Monday and Tuesday is expected to be 50 degrees, dropping to the mid-40s by Wednesday.
There is a 30 percent to 40 percent chance of snow after midnight Wednesday and into Thursday morning, the NWS reported.
