NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-The West Central District Health Department reported six new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in their jurisdiction on Tuesday.
Officials say five of the cases are in Lincoln County and one case is in Hooker County. Officials say three of the new cases are "community spread" and three are considered "under investigation."
WCDHD says two of the cases reported today are from September 5, three are from September 6 and three are from September 8.
After further investigation, two cases previously identified as residents of the WCDHD jurisdiction were transferred to the appropriate health department.
