Thomas Lynn Lieberth (1955-2020)

Thomas Lynn Lieberth, age 65, of Westminster, Colorado passed away on September 12, 2020 at Lutheran Hospice Collier Center in Wheatridge, Colorado.

He was born on April 23, 1955 in North Platte, Nebraska to Barbara and Edward Dowell.

Tommy went to school in North Platte, Nebraska graduating with the Class of 1973.  He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad.  He moved to Lakewood, Colorado and worked for WSM Industries.

Tommy married Barbara Duke in 1983.  To this union one son was born - Jesse Jerome.

He loved walking his furry friend and watching the Denver Broncos, Rockies, Avalanche and Nuggets.

Tommy was preceded in death by his dad, Don Lieberth; brothers Larry and Garry; grandparents Bernie and Rudy Neumann and Ester Dowell.

He is survived by his son, Jesse Lieberth of Westminster, Colorado; and his special furry friend, Skyy Blessing, who brought him much joy and played a big part in his life; his parents, Ed and Barb Dowell of North Platte, Nebraska; his brothers Dan (Bonnie) Lieberth of Chandler, Arizona, Jerry (Sandy) Lieberth of Holdrege, Nebraska, Steve Dowell of Wahepton, North Dakota, Scott (Amber) Dowell of Surprise, Arizona, and Dan (Dana) Beck of Casper, Wyoming; his aunts Sandy Reisinger of Loveland, Colorado, Carol Neumann of Vero Beach Florida, and Velda Gray; and many other family members.

Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at First United Methodist Church at 1600 West E Street in North Platte, Nebraska with the Reverend Dr. Douglas Delp officiating.  Visitation will be on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church.  Burial will follow at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens in North Platte, Nebraska.
