Jason Rodger Vedder, 46, of North Platte, NE passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Bryan Medical Center East in Lincoln.
Jason was born on June 28, 1976 in North Platte, NE the son of Rodger Frank and Verna Marie (Lehn) Vedder.
Jason graduated from North Platte High School and was currently working as a manager with Masonite Corporation. He loved to play pool, golf, and participated in several bowling team leagues. He was an avid Husker fan and loved spending time with his family especially his beloved children and grandchildren.
Those left to cherish Jason’s memory are his parents, Rodger and Verna Vedder of North Platte; paternal grandmother, Francis Vedder of North Platte; daughters, Kelsey (Adam) Dailey of North Platte, Brooke Rosales (Mike Rickett) of North Platte, and Vicki (Tom) Madziarek of Lempster, NH; son, Jarrett Vedder of Omaha; grandchildren, Haley Madziarek, Wyatt Rickett, Rhett Rosales, and Elara Dailey; sisters, Lisa (Greg) Stiffler of North Platte, and Tami (Josh) Telitz of Brady; 3 nieces and 7 nephews; former spouse, Jennifer Quiroga; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Jason was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bernard and Vivian Lehn, and by paternal grandfather, Verlin Vedder.
A Celebration of Jason’s Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022 at the American Legion Club. Carpenter Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for future designation.
