Over the course of the last few nights there have been reports of thefts from unlocked vehicles, a residential garage, and a commercial business. The area hit within the last 24 hours was between Front St to Leota St and Carr Ave to Buffalo Bill Ave.
The North Platte Police Department wants to remind residents to please lock your vehicles and ensure that your homes and businesses are secure. We also urge anyone who may live in the affected area that may have surveillance cameras to check your footage and notify the police department if they captured any suspicious persons or vehicles.
