Walter Joseph Revers, age 94, of North Platte, Nebraska passed away peacefully at his home on November 19, 2020. Walter was born on April 14, 1926 to Thomas Revers and Winifred Wallace in Omaha, Nebraska.
Walt entered the United State Navy in July of 1942. After getting out of the Navy, Walt went to work for Union Pacific Railroad. He eventually ended up in North Platte, Nebraska where he retired from the railroad.
Walt was preceded in death by his wife, Betty.
Survivors include his son, Henry (Ruthanne) Revers; brothers Thomas Revers and Ronald Revers; sisters Loretta Vondra, Betty Mona, mary Pat Homsey, Bernice Smith, and Barbara Revers; grandchildren Melanie Revers, Russell and Jason Dimmock; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 (on what would have been his 95th birthday) at North Platte Cemetery with military honors.
