Lincoln County Cattlemen’s meeting will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds Ag Building. It will start with a social at 5:30 pm and the meal at 6:00 pm. Speakers will start presenting at 6:30 pm.
The topics and speakers for the meeting are Mary Drewnoski, discussing Corn Residue Nutrition for Cows. She has been working on a statewide study to look at how some of these new hybrids may be affecting the nutrition a cow gets from the corn, corn husks and leaves. She will report the results of this statewide study. Randy Saner and area producers will discuss ways to hold down cow cost with the current inflationary rise in prices.
